Easter training in Victoria

G'day All,

I am back in Victoria training in the lead upto Easter just over 5weeks away now. I will be using Easter as a start to the season mini peak (as it is a woc selection race) and will be organising a few extra training sessions for myself and the two athlete's I coach (Bryan and Leon Keely). If your interested in joining into any of our plans your more than welcome. Some of the training's will be mid-week which will not be possible for alot of you, but I have noted down our weekend's leading upto Easter.

March 3rd & 4th (5weeks to easter):
Sat- Tan time trial 3.8k

Sun- Warburton 5k & 10k x-country. Good opportunity to have a hit out and get some speed into your legs.

March 10th & 11th (4weeks to easter):
Sat-AM:Orienteering interval training on the other end of the Nerina map (mass start/chasing start).
PM:Eureka Challenge Day 1. Nerina (w.cup terrain) lots of quality goldmining, changing direction and leg length in the race.
Sun- Eureka Challenge Day 2. Mt.Egerton

March 17th & 18th (3weeks to easter):
Sat- Dayelsford training PM: Dayelsford Fun-Run (3k, 5k & 8k), afterwards longish recovery run and o-discussion about Easter at nearby cafe.

Sun- Dayelsford training Am: 3hr Rogaine show down. Extra long run with a map in hand around some pretty nice terrain not too disimilar to Easter (Burra).

March 24th & 25th (2weeks to easter):
Sat- Mini Easter (Castlemaine), AM: Sprint PM: Middle
Sun- Mini Easter (Castlemaine), AM: Long
*no controls, just tapes.

March 31st & April 1st (1week to easter):
Sat- Easter training day (Maldon) AM & PM. As organised by VOA.
Sun- Run For The Kids 3.8k & 15.2k road run
