The Elite Series races are coming up in NSW May 20/21 and VIC June 11/12.

If you are not going to NSW, please try to attend the Turkey Traverse in Melbourne. There will probably be a perpetual trophy up for grabs.

Melbourne Forest Racers present the inaugural Turkey Traverse.
A long distance orienteering event across a number of inner city parks in Melbourne.
This is a perfect opportunity to practise your navigational skills on detailed colour orienteering maps and explore Melbourne’s parks.
Courses are suitable for runners, adventure racers, rogainers, park/street and bush orienteers and walkers. Bring a friend.
Directions: Quarries Park, east end of Ramsden St, Clifton Hill. Melways 44 G2.
Registration: 9:30-10am. Briefing at 10am. A & B courses then proceed to a remote start (directions at briefing) via either car pooling or Hurstbridge train line.
Courses: A course ~12km, B course ~9km (3 maps), C course and Power-walkers: 60 minute score (1 map)
