2007 WOC Trial/NOL May 5 & 6 - Event Programme

NOL Round 2 - VIC

NOL Round 3 - NSW (JWOC trials)
The weekend promises to be an awesome 2 days of orienteering. Plenty of granite and ideal training ahead of JWOC, the NSW Long Distance and Australian Championships in July.
Entries are due by 30 April.

Please enter now if you have not already done so. We are looking for full teams in each division and will pay you to attend. All petrol and reasonable accommodation expenses will be re-imbursed, so keep your receipts/tax invoices.
If you have entered, please let me know the following details:
Departure Place: (eg Melbourne CBD, Bendigo etc)
Time that you can leave: (eg 4pm Friday)
I will then arrange car pooling and shared accommodation for the team.


NOL Round 1 - SA: funding re-imbursement
Funding was available to Nuggets members that started each of the 3 NOL races on the weekend after Easter.
If you have not already done so, please provide me with your petrol and accommodation receipts for re-imbursement from Orienteering Victoria.

SS 2+3 (NOL) training day

Saturday 28th April

Event details:
Have a great day by the lake in Creswick and touch up your technique for next weekend. Expect to have many of Victoria's elite running, and the national senior women's coach is rumoured to be attending. With courses for the less serious available you can bring the family.

Courses:
1 hard 8km
2 hard 4km
3 easy/moderate 2km

Starts 1-2:15pm

Courses utilise areas of St Georges Lake map that are most similar to the terrain being used at the NOL middle distance and classic races.
Make sure you save some energy because there will be another surprise session for those willing- not for the softies.

Directions:
Assembly area is at the St Georges Lake picinic area.
From Melbourne- exit the Western fwy at the Bungaree Creswick exit and follow signs to creswick. St Georges Lake and assembly area are on your right just as you enter the outskirts of Creswick- it will be signposted. Allow 85min from CBD.
From Ballarat- Head north on the midland highway for 12km then turn right onto Melbourne/ Bungaree rd. Travel 1km to assembly area on your left signposted.
From north- follow Midland hwy south to Creswick, turn left onto Melbourne/ Bungaree road, travel 1km to assembly area on your left signposted
